Local has a built-in tranceiver 2-way communication radio, fully integrated into the ear cups. Every model has active listening function so that immediate vicinity communication is possible. Effectively with Local you can talk to colleagues 2 kilometers (433/1 kilometer) away by radio and those only feet away via built-in microphones and all this while in a noisy area with your hearing protection on. The radio operates both by voice activation (VOX) and Push to talk (PTT).
